Aleppo soap & natural care
Can I buy Aleppo soap in bulk for wedding favours?
Yes — compact, individually stamped Aleppo soap bars from our Nader Barakat & Sons range work well as wedding favours, and they're sold by the carton so a planner or couple can order the exact bar count a guest list needs. Sizes in the 100–140 g range are the natural favour format: small enough to hand out individually, still carrying the maker's hand-stamp and the UNESCO-recognized craft story that makes a good favour worth keeping.
One honest limit worth stating up front: we supply the bars, not finished favours. Custom wrapping, ribbon, tags or personalized packaging isn't something we do in-house — that's either your own finishing step after delivery, or a separate private-label packaging project quoted on its own.
Which bars work as favours
Compact bars are favoured for weddings mainly because they hand out easily and their per-bar weight keeps a large order manageable to ship and store. These are the smallest currently stocked.
| Bar | Weight | Pieces per carton |
|---|---|---|
| Zumarud Nader Barakat M006 | 100 g | 144 (12 packs × 12) |
| Areej Zanabili M011 | 120 g | 40 |
| aleamid M009 | 140 g | 30 |
| bahur maryam M005 | 140 g | 48 |
| Nader Barakat M002 | 140 g | 72 (12 packs × 6) |
What we don't do in-house
We ship stamped, aged bars in their standard carton packaging — we don't ribbon, box, tag or otherwise finish bars into individual favour packaging. If your event needs each bar wrapped in organza, tagged with a name and date, or boxed as a set, that's either a finishing step you handle after delivery, or a custom project that would be quoted per project like any private label request rather than a standard catalogue line.
For the broader logic of building tiers and pairing soap with other personal-care pieces into a fuller gift, building a soap gifting program covers the assortment side in more depth than this page.
Planning quantities and timing
Favour orders are usually sized to a guest count with a small buffer, so counting cartons against your list before ordering avoids a last-minute top-up request. Because soap is genuinely shelf-stable and improves with age rather than expiring, there's no real downside to ordering a few weeks ahead of the event rather than cutting it close — unlike a perishable favour, an early delivery just sits in good condition until the wedding date.
For any seasonal or date-sensitive order, flag your event date on the inquiry so timing can be planned around it rather than a standard reorder cadence. Building the favour order into one inquiry with your bar choice and carton count gets you a single written quotation, typically within a business day.
Related questions
What's the smallest Aleppo soap bar you carry for favours?
Zumarud Nader Barakat M006 at 100 g is the smallest currently stocked, packed 144 pieces to a carton across smaller inner packs.
Can you wrap or box individual favours for us?
Not as a standard service — bars ship in their producer carton packaging. Custom wrapping or boxing would be a separate quoted project, similar to a private label request.
How far ahead should I order for a wedding date?
Since the soap doesn't expire, ordering several weeks ahead carries no downside. Flag your event date on the inquiry so timing and quantity can be planned around it directly.
Can I order a mix of two or three different bars for variety?
Yes — mixed soap orders are common, including for favours. Combine a couple of bar styles on one inquiry if you want variety rather than a single uniform favour.
